Welcome to PJ Vastraa — A Fashion Label from PJ Universe.

PJ Vastraa is operated by PJ Universe Ventures Private Limited (“PJ Vastraa”, “PJ Universe”, “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the PJ Vastraa website, customer account facilities, official ordering channels and transactions made with PJ Vastraa, including orders initiated through our website and, where offered, through our official WhatsApp Business, social-media or other authorized communication channels.

By using our website, creating an account, confirming an order or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms together with the policies applicable to your transaction.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not place an order or use the relevant services.

1. About PJ Vastraa & Corporate Identity

PJ Vastraa is a fashion label operated by PJ Universe Ventures Private Limited, India.

Our collections may include Indian ethnic wear, contemporary fashion, Indo-Western styles, handcrafted garments, ready-to-wear pieces, order-basis products, made-to-order garments, customized products, family collections, bridal wear and specialized occasion wear.

PJ Vastraa may source, curate, commission, customize, market or arrange fulfilment of products through manufacturers, artisans, suppliers, designers and other authorized business partners, depending upon the product and collection.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, references to “PJ Vastraa” in these Terms refer to the fashion business operated by PJ Universe Ventures Private Limited.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms apply together with, where relevant:

our Shipping & Delivery Policy;
our Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations Policy;
our Privacy Policy;
product-specific terms;
customization or measurement confirmations;
promotional or offer-specific conditions; and
any other conditions clearly communicated before an order is confirmed.

These documents should be read together.

Where a product carries clearly disclosed specific conditions because it is customized, made-to-order, limited edition, bridal, occasion-specific or specially sourced, those product-specific conditions will supplement these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or override any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Eligibility to Use the Website & Place Orders

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order independently.

Persons under the age of 18 should use the website and make purchases only through or under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who is legally capable of entering into the transaction.

By placing an order, you represent that the information supplied by you is accurate and that you are legally authorized to use the payment method selected.

4. Customer Accounts & Account Security

Customers may be offered the option to create a My Account profile.

You are responsible for:

maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
keeping your account information current;
providing accurate contact information;
providing a complete and correct delivery address; and
notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You should not permit unauthorized persons to use your account.

PJ Vastraa may reasonably restrict, suspend or investigate an account where we detect suspected fraud, unauthorized access, abusive activity, payment irregularities or material violation of these Terms.

5. Permitted & Prohibited Use of the Website

The PJ Vastraa website and services are intended for lawful shopping, product discovery, customer-account management and related legitimate purposes.

You must not:

attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems;
introduce viruses, malware or malicious code;
interfere with website security or functionality;
use automated systems, bots, scraping tools or similar methods to systematically extract website content without authorization;
impersonate another person or business;
submit false or fraudulent information;
use stolen or unauthorized payment instruments;
reproduce PJ Vastraa branding in a misleading manner;
falsely represent yourself as associated with PJ Vastraa or PJ Universe;
use our website or content to facilitate fraud or unlawful activity;
commercially reproduce, imitate or exploit protected content without authorization; or
otherwise use the platform in violation of applicable law.

PJ Vastraa may take reasonable steps to protect the website, customers and business from suspected misuse.

6. Product Information & Handcrafted Characteristics

PJ Vastraa makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, measurements, fabric information, size information and other relevant details.

Because fashion products can involve handcrafted, artisanal, handwoven, embroidered, dyed, printed or manually finished work, minor natural variations may occur between individual pieces.

Such variations may include reasonable differences in:

embroidery;
weave;
print placement;
dye distribution;
texture;
embellishment placement;
handcrafted finishing; or
other artisanal characteristics.

These natural characteristics are not necessarily manufacturing defects.

A material discrepancy between the product supplied and the product represented or agreed upon will be assessed separately in accordance with our Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations Policy and applicable law.

7. Product Images & Colour Representation

PJ Vastraa makes reasonable efforts to represent products accurately.

However, actual colours may appear slightly different because of:

mobile, laptop or monitor settings;
screen calibration;
studio or natural photography lighting;
ambient lighting;
fabric characteristics;
dyeing processes; or
handcrafted production.

Product images may also include jewellery, accessories, styling elements, props or complementary garments for presentation purposes.

Only items specifically stated as included in the product description form part of the product being purchased.

Where a colour, design or product supplied is materially different from the confirmed product description, the matter will be reviewed in accordance with applicable policies and law.

8. Measurements, Size Guides & Customization

Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable PJ Vastraa Size Guide before ordering.

International size conversions are approximate and may vary between garment types, silhouettes and manufacturers.

Where a customer provides measurements or customization instructions, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the information supplied is accurate.

For customized or made-to-measure products, production may begin using measurements and specifications confirmed by the customer.

Once customization, sourcing, cutting, tailoring, embroidery or other order-specific work has begun, cancellation, alteration or return eligibility may be restricted as described in our Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations Policy.

9. Product Availability

Product availability may change without notice.

Because some PJ Vastraa products are sourced, produced, arranged or customized on an order-basis, availability displayed or communicated at one point in time does not necessarily guarantee continued availability until the order has been accepted and processed.

A product may become unavailable because of circumstances including:

supplier stock changes;
fabric unavailability;
discontinued designs;
artisan or manufacturing constraints;
unsuccessful quality verification;
production limitations; or
other legitimate fulfilment issues.

If PJ Vastraa is unable to fulfil a paid order, we will communicate with the customer and provide an appropriate refund or other agreed resolution in accordance with applicable law.

10. Pricing

Prices displayed on the website may change from time to time before an order is placed.

A price change will not ordinarily alter the confirmed price of an order already accepted, except where required by law or where an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred and the transaction has not validly been completed.

Where a genuine pricing error occurs, PJ Vastraa may contact the customer before fulfilment and provide the option to:

proceed at the corrected price, where legally permissible; or
cancel the affected order and receive a refund of the relevant amount already paid.

Prices, discounts, reference prices and promotional claims will be displayed and administered in accordance with applicable law.

11. Taxes, Duties & Other Charges

Applicable taxes and charges will be displayed, included or communicated as required.

Depending upon the destination and transaction, additional charges may include:

shipping;
customs duties;
import taxes;
VAT or similar destination taxes;
brokerage charges;
customs-clearance fees;
currency-conversion charges;
foreign-transaction fees; or
charges imposed independently by banks or payment providers.

International customers should refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy for additional information regarding customs and import-related charges.

12. Orders & Order Acceptance

Submitting an order, completing checkout or receiving an automated acknowledgement does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of an order.

An order may be subject to:

successful payment authorization;
product availability;
sourcing availability;
customization feasibility;
destination serviceability;
fraud or security checks; and
other reasonable fulfilment requirements.

PJ Vastraa may decline or cancel an order before fulfilment where reasonably necessary because of:

product unavailability;
supplier or production constraints;
payment failure;
suspected fraud;
incorrect pricing or listing errors;
inability to fulfil requested customization;
shipping restrictions;
legal or regulatory restrictions; or
other circumstances preventing legitimate fulfilment.

If PJ Vastraa cancels a paid order that cannot be fulfilled, the relevant amount received for the cancelled order will be refunded in accordance with applicable law and payment-processing requirements.

13. Orders Through WhatsApp & Other Official Channels

Where PJ Vastraa accepts an order through an authorized WhatsApp Business account, official social-media channel or other direct communication method, the customer may receive an order summary, payment instructions and references or links to relevant policies.

By confirming such an order and proceeding with payment, the customer acknowledges the applicable:

product specifications;
price;
size or measurements;
customization requirements;
shipping terms;
return and cancellation conditions; and
these Terms & Conditions.

Customers should transact only through official PJ Vastraa communication channels communicated by us.

14. Payments

Orders must be paid using payment methods made available or expressly authorized by PJ Vastraa.

Payments may be processed by independent third-party payment gateways, banks, financial institutions or payment-service providers.

PJ Vastraa does not control the independent infrastructure of such third parties.

A payment may be subject to:

bank authorization;
fraud checks;
transaction limits;
payment-provider terms; and
applicable banking regulations.

International customers may also incur currency-conversion, foreign-transaction or banking fees imposed independently by their payment provider or financial institution.

PJ Vastraa does not control such third-party charges.

15. International Orders

PJ Vastraa may accept orders for selected international destinations subject to:

courier coverage;
product eligibility;
applicable export or import restrictions;
payment availability;
customs requirements; and
destination-country regulations.

International customers are responsible for ensuring that the products ordered may lawfully be imported into their destination country.

Customs authorities may request customer identification, documentation or other information before releasing a shipment.

Any applicable customs duties, destination taxes, import charges, brokerage fees or clearance expenses will be handled in accordance with our Shipping & Delivery Policy and applicable law.

Availability of international shipping to a particular destination may change as courier or regulatory conditions change.

16. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping and delivery are governed by the current PJ Vastraa Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms where applicable.

Any delivery dates or transit times communicated by PJ Vastraa are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

courier delays;
customs procedures;
weather;
transportation disruption;
public holidays;
strikes;
government restrictions;
destination-country processes; or
other unforeseen circumstances.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delay, return-to-origin charges or re-dispatch expenses where applicable.

17. Returns, Exchanges, Refunds & Cancellations

Returns, exchanges, refunds and cancellations are governed by the current PJ Vastraa Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Different conditions may apply to:

ready-to-wear products;
made-to-order products;
customized products;
made-to-measure garments;
bridal or specialized occasion wear;
final-sale merchandise; and
international orders.

Nothing in that policy or these Terms is intended to restrict any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Promotions, Discount Codes & Special Offers

PJ Vastraa may offer promotional codes, discounts, referral benefits, free-shipping offers, seasonal campaigns, gift vouchers or other promotional benefits.

Such offers may:

have specific eligibility requirements;
apply only to selected products;
have a specified validity period;
require a minimum order value;
exclude certain collections;
be limited to one use per customer; or
carry other clearly disclosed conditions.

Promotional benefits cannot normally be exchanged for cash unless expressly stated or legally required.

The use of an ordinary promotional code does not by itself make a product non-returnable unless the applicable product or promotion was clearly identified as final sale or non-returnable before purchase.

PJ Vastraa may withdraw, suspend or correct a promotion where there is an error, abuse, fraud or other legitimate reason, subject to applicable law and without unlawfully affecting already-confirmed transactions.

19. Intellectual Property & Authorized Content

The PJ Vastraa and PJ Universe names, logos, brand identity elements, original website copy, graphics, photographs, videos, layouts, size-guide materials and other content may be:

owned by PJ Universe Ventures Private Limited;
owned by PJ Vastraa or PJ Universe-affiliated rights holders; or
lawfully used under licence, authorization or permission from suppliers, photographers, creators, manufacturers or other relevant rights holders.

Nothing on the website transfers ownership of such intellectual property to a website user.

Unless permitted by law or authorized in writing, users must not reproduce, commercially exploit, modify, republish, distribute, falsely attribute or use protected PJ Vastraa content in a manner that infringes our rights or the rights of the relevant content owner.

Certain supplier, manufacturer or third-party product imagery may be used by PJ Vastraa with permission without PJ Vastraa necessarily owning the underlying copyright.

20. Trademarks & Brand Identity

PJ Vastraa, PJ Universe, associated logos, taglines and other brand identifiers are valuable business and brand assets.

No person may use our brand identity in a manner that:

falsely suggests endorsement;
creates customer confusion;
impersonates PJ Vastraa or PJ Universe;
misrepresents another seller or product as associated with us; or
otherwise infringes applicable intellectual-property or passing-off rights.

Nothing in these Terms represents that every brand element is necessarily registered as a trademark in every jurisdiction.

21. Customer Reviews, Photographs & User-Submitted Content

Customers may voluntarily submit reviews, testimonials, photographs, videos or other content.

Where you specifically submit content to PJ Vastraa for publication or expressly authorize us to use or repost it, you grant PJ Vastraa a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, repost and communicate that content for reasonable website, social-media, brand and marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed.

You represent that:

you own the submitted content or have permission to provide it;
its use does not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights; and
where content prominently features another individual, you have the authority or appropriate permission necessary for the intended use.

Where content features a child or minor, appropriate parental or legal-guardian authorization must exist.

Merely tagging PJ Vastraa on social media does not automatically give PJ Vastraa unrestricted commercial rights to use that content.

PJ Vastraa may request separate permission before reusing customer content in advertising or promotional campaigns.

22. Reviews & Fair Use of Feedback

Customers are welcome to provide genuine reviews and feedback based upon their actual experience.

PJ Vastraa may moderate or remove content that is:

fraudulent;
unrelated to an actual customer experience;
abusive or threatening;
unlawful;
spam;
malicious;
designed to compromise platform security; or
otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents customers from making legitimate complaints or honestly exercising consumer rights.

23. Communications

By placing an order, you authorize PJ Vastraa to send communications reasonably necessary to process and service your transaction, including:

order confirmations;
payment communications;
shipping updates;
return or exchange communications;
customer-support messages; and
important policy or security notifications.

Transactional communications are different from marketing communications.

Promotional marketing communications will be handled according to applicable consent requirements and our Privacy Policy.

Where applicable, customers may opt out of promotional communications without affecting essential transactional messages relating to an active order.

24. Privacy & Personal Information

Use of personal information is governed by the PJ Vastraa Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Our Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms.

We may necessarily share relevant information with service providers such as:

payment processors;
logistics and courier providers;
technology providers;
website-hosting providers;
analytics or communication providers; or
professional advisers

where reasonably necessary to provide services, fulfil orders, comply with law or protect legitimate business interests, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

25. Third-Party Services & Links

The PJ Vastraa website may interact with or link to independent third-party services such as:

payment providers;
courier or tracking systems;
social-media platforms;
WhatsApp;
analytics providers; or
other external websites and tools.

Such third parties operate their own systems and may apply their own terms and privacy practices.

PJ Vastraa is not responsible for the independent operation, availability or content of third-party platforms except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

26. Website Availability

PJ Vastraa makes reasonable efforts to maintain a secure and functional website.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, continuously available or completely error-free operation.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of:

maintenance;
hosting issues;
software updates;
technical failures;
internet disruption;
cyber incidents;
third-party service interruptions; or
circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, appropriate steps will be taken to restore affected services.

27. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PJ Vastraa and PJ Universe Ventures Private Limited will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including temporary website interruption, third-party platform failure or external service disruption.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including statutory consumer rights and remedies applicable to defective, incorrect, materially misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

Nothing in these Terms permits PJ Vastraa to avoid obligations imposed by applicable consumer-protection law.

28. Fraud, Abuse & Suspicious Transactions

PJ Vastraa may reasonably investigate, place on hold, cancel or restrict a transaction where there is credible evidence of:

unauthorized payment use;
fraudulent chargeback activity;
identity misuse;
manipulation of promotions;
repeated abusive return behaviour;
false claims;
deliberate product substitution;
malicious website activity; or
other suspected unlawful conduct.

Where an order is cancelled, any refund legally due will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

PJ Vastraa may cooperate with payment providers, financial institutions, law-enforcement authorities or other competent authorities where required or lawfully appropriate.

29. Force Majeure

PJ Vastraa will not be treated as having breached these Terms solely because performance is delayed or prevented by events beyond our reasonable control.

Such events may include:

natural disasters;
severe weather;
fire or flood;
epidemic or public-health restrictions;
war or civil disturbance;
strikes;
transportation disruption;
courier interruption;
customs delays;
government action;
import or export restrictions;
telecommunications or infrastructure failure;
major supplier or production disruption beyond reasonable control; or
similar unforeseen events.

Where such an event affects an order, PJ Vastraa will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer and determine an appropriate next step.

This clause does not remove any statutory right that continues to apply despite such circumstances.

30. Indemnity for Misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims reasonably arising from your:

unlawful use of the website;
infringement of another person’s intellectual-property rights through content submitted by you;
fraudulent conduct;
deliberate interference with our systems; or
material breach of these Terms.

This provision does not impose liability upon customers merely for exercising legitimate statutory or consumer rights.

31. Suspension or Termination of Access

PJ Vastraa may restrict or terminate access to an account or particular platform functionality where reasonably necessary because of:

serious or repeated breach of these Terms;
suspected fraud;
unlawful activity;
security risks;
abuse of the website; or
material threats to PJ Vastraa, other customers or third parties.

Termination of website access does not eliminate rights or obligations arising from transactions already completed or rights that continue by law.

32. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms, use of the PJ Vastraa website and transactions entered into with PJ Vastraa shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to any statutory rights, remedies or forums available to consumers under applicable consumer-protection law, the courts of competent jurisdiction at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India shall have jurisdiction over contractual, commercial and other disputes arising out of or relating to:

use of the PJ Vastraa website;
purchases made through PJ Vastraa;
transactions initiated through authorized PJ Vastraa channels; or
dealings with PJ Universe Ventures Private Limited relating to PJ Vastraa.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or override any consumer right, remedy or forum that cannot lawfully be excluded.

33. Good-Faith Resolution of Disputes

Where appropriate, customers are encouraged to first contact PJ Vastraa Customer Support or use the applicable grievance-redressal mechanism so that concerns may be reviewed and, where possible, resolved in good faith.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from approaching any competent statutory authority, consumer commission, court or other forum available under applicable law.

34. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held by a competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited, modified or removed only to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to remain effective to the extent legally permissible.

35. No Waiver

If PJ Vastraa does not immediately enforce a particular provision of these Terms, this does not automatically mean that the provision or relevant right has been permanently waived.

Any waiver will apply only to the extent expressly provided or legally established.

36. Assignment

Customers may not transfer their contractual rights or obligations relating to an order to another party where doing so would materially affect the transaction without appropriate consent.

PJ Universe Ventures Private Limited may transfer relevant business rights or obligations in connection with a lawful corporate restructuring, merger, transfer of business, succession or similar transaction, subject to applicable law and customer rights.

37. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable:

Privacy Policy;
Shipping & Delivery Policy;
Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations Policy;
product-specific terms;
customization confirmations;
order confirmations; and
offer-specific conditions

constitute the relevant agreement between the customer and PJ Vastraa concerning the applicable transaction.

They supersede inconsistent prior representations relating to the same subject matter, except where another written agreement has expressly been agreed between the parties.

38. Changes to These Terms

PJ Vastraa may update these Terms periodically to reflect:

changes in law;
regulatory requirements;
business operations;
website functionality;
shipping arrangements;
payment systems;
product or fulfilment processes; or
customer-service procedures.

The current version will be published on the official PJ Vastraa website together with the applicable effective or updated date.

Material changes will not be used to unfairly rewrite the terms of an already-confirmed transaction where doing so would be contrary to applicable law.

Customers are encouraged to review the current Terms when placing a new order.

40. Grievance Redressal

PJ Universe Ventures Private Limited maintains a grievance-redressal mechanism for consumer complaints relating to PJ Vastraa.

Consumer grievances will be acknowledged and addressed within the timelines prescribed under applicable law.

Customers raising an order-related grievance should provide, wherever applicable:

full name;

order number;
description of the concern;
relevant photographs or supporting documents; and
the resolution requested.
